Whoa, that looks like a big place. I'll bet she's been a busy girl putting together an act for a place like that.

Looks like this date may be in jeopardy with the change in The Pink House shooting schedule.

Has any cancellation of this become official now? We have tickets to see Kat in a venue like this finally. Now I'm getting really upset if this is cancelled. I dont get this at all. She has to do a better job of balancing her music and the tv/acting.

Thank you for ordering tickets for the new comedy - THE PINK HOUSE - on Thursday, March 25. This show date has been canceled. The show is now scheduled to film on FRIDAY, APRIL 9 at 6:30pm. If you would like to attend on the new show date, please either return to our website to reorder tickets for the new date or reply to this email and we will transfer your name to the ticket list for April 9. I believe someone goofed somewhere

Thanks for posting that Goodie, but something has got to give. Either they have to reschedule the taping, rechedule/cancel the Harrah's gig or Kat has to decide which commitment to honor.

She commented in a recent interview that she needs to balance her desire for both singing and acting. She needs to start doing a much better job at it than she is right now. I think what is bothering me most is that she said a number of months ago she was fully committed to the run of this record, promotion, touring etc. FULLY committed. And now at the first opportunity is seems that music is taking a back seat again. Somehow she needs to clarify what is going on and soon. A number of fans have spent large amounts of money and time to go to Harrahs and to have to cancel/reschedule would be a great inconvenience and financial loss to them.

I assume if she is taping the show on the 9th it will be in L.A. I know she can fly coast to coast in a few hours but this makes me wonder about the show I'm seeing in Baltimore on the 10th. I'm no expert on taping sitcoms but I don't think you go to the studio for a couple of hours one day, tape your scenes, leave and fly to the east coast. Something disturbing is going on here.

We have to relax and wait for information.I can almost assure everyone this is not Katharine's doing.This is the second goof up scheduling the pilot shoot on a Katharine Concert Date.

Goodie, actual scheduling is not Kat's doing, but she took the pilot just a few weeks ago and likely knew it would cause scheduling issues, so she has a major responsibility for this. Scheduling the shooting of a pilot is likely not an easy thing, so they may have no choice but to do it on the 9th if that's when everyone can meet. Too bad it's already caused the rescheduling of the first concert date.

I agree dalki. Kat DOES have a responsibility in this.Wwhen she accepted the Pilot she could have stated that she was simply unavailable for certain dates. I have no problem with the initial McCallum move but have a BIG problem with the Harrah's date moving. Many people have spent lots of money to attend and a Casino venue is HUGE at this point in her career. She can't simply just move it and not have repercussions on many levels. It gives the impression that her music will always be second to her acting desires. If that's the case then that is her decision but for those of us who love her singing and performing it is a bit of a heartbreak.

Harrah's is a critical venue for Kat at this stage of her career, if the pilot can be re-scheduled for others not being available on certain dates, then why not for Kat not being available on 4/9 ??
We've waited so long for a tour for Kat with DECENT venues, and now we get it only to have this happen.
I hope we're all wrong in assuming the 4/9 AC date wont be cancelled /changed, but I'm really very upset now...

I wish Regina was still here; she'd always calm all my Kat fears and anxiety...

We may just have to resign ourselves to the strong likelihood that we'll need to have a massive amount of patience when it comes to Kat's career and expect that some things will end up being rescheduled.

Since the Harrah's thing is Kat's concert and not a fundraiser that depends on a specific date as far as I know, then it will likely just be rescheduled and not canceled

I agree with you again dalki. Though she does have a certain responsibility in this it is probably simply outside of her control. She and we will have to accept the consequences of her being this multi-talented. It is not ideal but in some respects I'd rather have these kind of problems over some of the problems the many lesser talented one-trick ponies the show has brought to our attention.

McPheever over on KMC got an email saying the Harrah's concert has been canceled. With the Pink House scheduled to tape on the 9th, something had to give, so this is not a suprise. I'm just sorry for those Kat fans looking forward to this. Hopefully, she can still do the Goucher College benefit the next day.

I got a voicemail also .. It is cancelled. I am so angry at this point , I can barely talk. I arranged to have people come in from out of state, everyone scheduled days off from work, hotel reservations... Now nothing... Canceling a Great opportunity like this in AC on a Friday nite for a pilot that is not a sure thing... I'm sorry to say I am losing patience now, I truly love Kat but I dont know how much more I can hang on.. We've waited so long (years) for some decent concert venues for her, she gets them and now they get blown off. I just dont know anymore...

I feel very sad for all those who made plans, spent money, and rearranged their schedule to go to this what would have been an awesome show. Hopefully it will be rescheduled. We know certainly that it must have been beyond her control and is a consequence of her being successful in a number of areas. With the promotion that was done for Goucher, I think she will be there for that one. Hopefully we will hear something official posted later today.

I know something like that is a major PIA but the more Katharine moves up into the bigtime, the more stuff like this will probably happen because she'll just be in demand. We just have to suck it up and be glad she's getting a lot of terrific opportunities. This is what she was dreaming about when she was working for $25/night playing Annie Get Your Gun.

I hate to say it, but you take a risk anytime you schedule something that isn't under your control, whether it's travel or an entertainment event, or whatever. You have to stay flexible even when it comes to attending a concert. Kat probably didn't have a lot of say over the scheduling of the pilot shoot and the dates for that were probably a lot more inflexible than the Harrah's event.
