May as well get some use out of this post since it's here.  There is a
line that reads "Fan/Not a Fan" or something like that. I guess you
click whatever applies and go from there. I found it sort of accidentally
and signed up before I got lost again. Be sure and leave a comment
when you sign up as a katfan. Who knows, maybe it will impress
somebody. The site appears to be under construction and things are
changing. Katharine seems to appear, disappear, and reappear on
the artists list.

Before I got into AI fandom I really didn't know diddley about contemporary music. I thought all the best stuff
had been written somewhere between 40 and 100 years ago. It's been an education for me. All because a friend
talked me into sitting down and actually watching Idol, which I had never had the slightest interest in before.
And there was that fascinating bunch of people on Season Five, and then lightning struck and the rest is history.

I just read an interview with Kellie P. on aol and she is just a hoot. It was like there was something for everyone
that season. I still think that was the best Idol season ever.

Just left a comment. I love that Verse site. It's introducing me to some other really good artists too. Think I'm going to buy some of Melody Gardot's and Susan Tedeschi's music. also.
