Kat will be doing the View on Thursday. Most of you knew that though, and I apologize for saying Wednesday in my last post.
Kat plans to start her tour in Pittsburgh Thursday night. 
Kat also would like everyone to know she there was no work involved on the play that she is co-producing. They simply attached her name to it.
Get ready Super Bowl Champs, Kat is coming to your town!

Great news, and the same day my tickets arrived in the mail for the September 23rd show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i This will be my 3rd time going but best one yet because Kat will be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news! I can't wait to hear the first reviews from whoever is lucky enough to attend the Pittsburgh show. I gave away my tickets to last Saturday's Philly show (no Kat made me too sad to go), but I just bought tickets to the Reading Pa show on September 16. Yikes, that's still 7 weeks away!

Thanks for all the work you do Chad. I know this is a positive site so I hope this is taken in the spirit it is intended. I know Kat has a good head on her shoulders and will weather all of this. HOWEVER, I do think her management company should have publicized more and updated the WORLD with Kat's progress. This led to too much negative speculation. Shouldn't they have done more to boost sales? To anyone who has an ear she ABSOLUTELY should have wo. David Foster and Barbra Streisand know it and so does Andrea Bocelli. All those photo shoots are so cool but she wasn't singing so all those gossips had more food for fodder her representation should have done more to support her in the media.
I don't know how to post pics but my favorite is in that beautiful blue dress when singing MY DESTINY and that vulnerable expression on her face when she is facing the judges. |

1.What GREAT NEWS to come home to at the end of a Monday!  2. The View is a fun show and exposes her to a much different audience which will hopefully turn in to more sales. Similar audience to the Bocelli concerts. Audiences with cash to burn-literally. 3.As soon as a note comes out of her mouth, most of the nay-sayers will crawl away.
4.The level of the performances at the concerts will go up a few notches and it will get even better reviews. 5.Kat will be able to generate more "buzz and excitement" which should translate in to sales of her singles and cd and whatever else she does. 6. Being in the press a lot is good. That is, when it is mostly favorable. We live in a "microwave world" where everything moves quickly. Most people (not all, but most) only have time to absorb snipets of info. Ask most people to go in to detail on a topic and most can't. It was "something they heard." Tales
-1.As someone else posted, her "team" must get better at dealing with her press-positive and negative. If they kept the public informed, it would never have gotten to the point it has. -2.Experts have said over the past few weeks that "speaking is harder on your vocal cords than singing." Why is she speaking for hours before she does even 1 concert?
-3.The first sounds from her in weeks are going to be at (2) different speaking engagements-not the best way to start when she has been MIA for weeks and missed close to 20 tour dates. -4. FIRST NOISE OUT OF HER should be singing! -5. FIRST WORDS OUT OF HER MOUTH ON THE VIEW SHOULD BE (when asked when she is rejoining the tour,which she will be asked, by Barbra or Joy ),-"YES, I just rejoined the tour last night."If those were her words, she is redeemed and everyone moves on. Rumours put to bed. Old news. Next. 6. Being in the press is not good when it is more negative than positive. See #6 above for the rest. You all know I LOVE Kat. You hopefully have read my posts on the San Jose concert (Phee posted them on the front of his site as well-thanks again Phee). So please don't take what I have said the wrong way. You all know that email does not comes across the same as face-to-face conversation, and can be interpreted incorrectly-very easily. I say this out of pure concern for "Our Girl." It is frustrating to watch her management team let this spin out-of-control. To hear the negative press-even when you know it is mostly erroneous. I just want her to be able to navigate through this world she has entered called Entertainment the way SHE would like- at peace, grounded, no worries. Unrealisitic maybe, but her "team" could do a better job than they have thus far. She says she needs to make good choices and the right decisions-well so does her team. We ALL want this to be WIN for Katharine and if we need to get involved and let them hear our voices, so be it!
