Just voted 5 times by entering Kat & Over It as what they call a "Wildcard" video! Thnx, Minnie!

I guess you don't need to delete your cookies on this one--because it lets you enter Katharine's song up at the top of the list as many times as you want. It's always gone when going back in through that link. And I guess having a little insignia there of a flame will show us later that it's super hot once people start voting for it. The icon showing the thermometer apparently means lukewarm. 

Anyway, I've entered several times in the last ten minutes. Just be sure to pay attention to your typing skills when entering "Katharine McPhee" (under 'Band Name')--and the song title (without quotes) so they won't get confused or have to endure VH1 saying Katherine McPhee all over again. There's still some newer fans out there who may vote it in who still spell Kat's name with the 'e.' Our votes should hopefully override that, even though VH1 should correct it anyway once her video actually arrives there.

I'd say it'll likely be another week or so before we see it on VH1. They almost seem to follow in the footsteps of what MTV does first. And, in that regard, kudos to MTV for giving such great promotion to the 'OI' video first. They could have passed on it...where VH1 would have had to be the one instead. If you really want to tap into the teen market...MTV's the one over VH1.

Kat will like appear on the Top 20 Countdown show again, too, once her video appears on there. That may be the only time we'll see it while the sun's still up out here on the west coast. Otherwise, happy hunting for it on VH1 at 3 o'clock in the morning. I'm sure Kat's video will be seen by millions more on the internet (hopefully a popular video online) than it will even on TRL. In fact, having it at #8 on TRL may mean that a good chunk of viewers are just catching it online instead.

This is working for me today so I voted a few times. I added a few other people's videos in 2nd and 3rd spots so I wouldn't look quite so much like a total rabid mcmaniac, if anyone's paying attention. it seems to let you vote as often as you feel like it, so I'm just voting away.

"Kat needs your help!  Her new single, Over It, is currently being voted on at trl.mtv.com and vh1.com.  It is very important to keep her on these shows because it exposes her to millions that may not have heard it on the radio yet.  Which brings me to the other thing Kat really needs - radio exposure!  We really need to come together and request her on the radio.   I live near DC and have not heard her once on 99.5, which is the largest POP station in this area.  She is doing really well in NYC thanks to you guys in that area.  So let's get behind her like we did last year for her in AI5!

If you clear you cookies you can "revote", but the fact you have to be logged in to vote makes me question if those additional votes actually count or not. Bottom line: Clear your cookies and revote a few times, it won't hurt anything.

Logged in? I'm not logged in to anything that I know of. I don't recall having to register to be able to vote. A lot of sites tell you when you can't revote, but this one does not. Is that significant?

VH1 plays the top 20 all week long. this is most important to keep kat on the air. just a few hours left.

The "submit" button has disappeared. Guess I'm not voting anymore. What happened?

The show is tomorrow morning and I suspect that they are cutting off the voting for the week.  Crude? Yes.  Effective? Unquestionably.  I will be surprised if she makes it, I voted a bunch but a write in campaign is like rowing upriver with a slotted spoon for an oar...tough, tough going.

Still, I can't access the TRL site so this at least gives me the illusion that I'm doing something. Along with emailing radio stations in my area, and any of the ones that allow random emailing of suggestions without asking where I am so they can figure out that I probably don't really listen to New York radio stations because I'm 1000 miles away.

Another way is to find the DJ email addresses, most stations give them to you, and send emails directly to the DJ that is currently on the air.  You can be creative in how you ask and often listening to the stream and commenting on something that just happened shows that you really are listening and can yeild results better than a "would you play...." email will.   There are a host of ways to appear more "local" than your 1000 miles.  And don't only work on huge market stations because those mid to small market stations have DJs that are perhaps more likely to appreciate a bit of listener interaction.

She didn't make it.  That doesn't surprise me.  I'm just hoping all the write-in votes will get her listed for next week's countdown and hopefully get the video premiered on the channel sometime this week.  You know if they counted all of those wild cards votes she certainly would have made the show.  I'm doubting they get more votes for that than TRL does.  And somehow we managed to push Kat to the top of MTV.  I think we can do the same on VH1 even with a more detailed voting method.  I'm sure Daughtry's fans would just love to get knocked off their pedestal by Katharine.  Wouldn't that just be spiffy?

Is anyone in Canada able to vote? I drag K's marker to the right but there is no "Submit" or "Vote" button anywhere. Where is it supposed to be? I have cleared cookies.
