I've been out of my usual Saturday night chatting loop for the last month--but it's mostly because the chat room here is empty due to the bugs that Chad's apparently fixed now. Nevertheless, there was some kind of odd entertainment value in talking to yourself for a minute in there until just leaving to go do posting.
It's probably my own fault for not getting involved on the recent covert AIM chats. Don offered to invite me into it a couple of weeks ago, though I don't have AIM downloaded on my computer and usually use MSN Messenger. Nevertheless, I can d/l AIM in a matter of minutes and create my SN (what about...Gregoriancant?
) and try to resume our group chats there. From all indications tonight (the chat room here is empty again)--maybe everybody wants to keep it in AIM from now on.
Well, I can understand the frustration in KMF's chat room. And Chad couldn't control the problems that would inevitably arise even after an upgrade. It became a weekly ritual for me to get booted out of there right before midnight on Saturday nights. Sometimes it would happen twice. The upgrade should prevent that now, I assume--but I won't hold my breath. It just became accepted by me anyway and not that big of a deal.
When we all chat again, I have some interesting things to tell some of you about related to what goes on here behind the scenes. I get emails. Boy, do I get emails...
