Over It is back to #1 at STAR 101 in SF. They are really sending the song out with a bang! Good for them. 75 spins, I think that is a record for the week at STAR. So she is moving down quickly but still setting records at STAR. And at their current pace they will pass Salt Lake's KZHT as the most total spins. So everyone take a moment and e-mail STAR and thank them for their continued support!

LOVE STORY IS OFF AND RUNNING IN THE USA!! MEDIABASE 5/16/07
Well following the same pattern as Over It Love Story got 2 US spins yesterday exactly 2 weeks before the official adds date!!! WooHoo!! She is off and running!!!
WSTW-FM in Wilmington DE and WERO-FM in Greenville NC were the first 2 station playing Love Story!!!
Both these stations started playing Over It early and are STILL spinning it!!
Congrats to those two stations!!! Hopefully we will start seeing more very soon.
In Canada Love Story continues to climb the charts! On Canadian HAC she is up to #169 with 13 spins this week. CIOO-FM In Halifax has 10 and a new station CHWV-FM in Saint John NB has 3! On CIOO Love Story is #44 and Over It #43.
On Canadian Top 40 Love Story is #388 with 5 spins and 4 stations playing her. CIHT-FM is the leader with 2 spins.
Hey these #'s are small but we are still 2 weeks ahead of the official add date so it is really something to get excited about!! Love Story is on it's way!!!

I think they will pass Salt Lake City. I love hearing it at work, and I kid you not - they always, always announce "and that was Katharine McPhee . . . " I listen to Star all the time, and they don't do that with many artists. I actually think Darren McPeake has a MAJOR crush on Kat, someone at Star sure does because Kat definitely is getting special treatment. |

I think they will pass Salt Lake City. I love hearing it at work, and I kid you not - they always, always announce "and that was Katharine McPhee . . . " I listen to Star all the time, and they don't do that with many artists. THURSDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 5/17/07
Well Love Story is getting more early stations spinning at least trial spins . The Hot or Not test in Dallas went very well and Love Story is definitely "HOT". Hopefully she can get that market this time! They are a tough one to crack!
Kat's at #238 on Pop with 4 spins and has an AI of 0.024 mil.
Love Story now has a total of 28 spins in North America since May 7 for a total AI of 0.222 mil.
In Canada
On Canadian HAC Love Story is now # 151 with 16 spins this week. CIOO-FM in Halifax has her right into strong rotation!
On Canadian Top 40 it is at #345 with 6 spins
New Cities/New Stations
She has been played by KHKS-FM (Dallas) and WIHB-FM (Charleston, SC).

elliot,s sales on amazon, when from 93 to 11, so that idol apperance does really can the cd rolling, and I thought his singing was a 5, noting hot about his new cd! Idol sucks for not having kat on, lots of people don't even know she has a cd out! |

Love Story is already Top 40!
It is the 39 song on CIOO-FM in Halifax NS. It is also the highest charting debut song on their chart this week with it's 13 spins so far. It seems to be on a 3-4 spin rotation already there!

FRIDAY LOVE STORY MEDIABASE REPORT 5/18/07
Well Love Story has doubled the number of stations who have played it with 4 new stations yesterday!
Kat's at #185 on Pop with 8 spins and has an AI of 0.040 mil. She has 9 total in the US with one new station being below market 200.
Love Story has now been played been played on 8 stations in the US.
New Cities/New Stations:
Milwaukee WXSS-FM
New Orleans WEZB-FM
Greenville SC WFBC-FM played her twice the first day!
Marion IL WCIL-FM

Super news about "Love Story". I just e-mailed Star101, San Francisco Bay Area and asked them to be the first HOT AC station to play it. I said that you'll love it. I do. It's perfect for summer!
Let's all start requesting our local stations to play it. I think it will do well and may even pass "OI" in popularity!!! |

SATURDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 5/19/07
Love Story has some positive differences in it''s start up the charts from Over It already. First of all WFBC, Greenville, SC has put it into light rotation already with 2 spins on each of the first 2 days. But as sjwolves points out,
But the exciting news to me today is...WXSS in Milwaukee. They've already spun Love Story more on their own than they ever did Over It. LS 2 spins, OI 1 spin. Hopefully there will be many more stations like this.
All their other spins were AT40 spins, so for WXSS at least Love Story seems to be a better fit for them!.
Kat and Love Story are at #174 on Pop with 11 spins and has an AI of 0.053 mil. She now has a total of 12 spins since 15th May, with 3 new spins since yesterday.
In Canada Love Story is now #139 on Canadian HAC with 18 spins this week and #308 on Canadian Top 40 with 7 spins.
And for the weekend shows, Over It is now off the AT40 chart after a great 9 week run. It is still #34 on the Rick Dees weekly Top 40 show down from #30 and is still holding steady at #13 on the Rick Dees Rhythmic chart.
Well hopefully things will really start to pick up this week for Love Story heading into her official adds date on May 29th!

SUNDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 5/20/07
We have some very good news on the new station front for Love Story. It got 2 more stations yesterday and they are important ones. First of all Boston's KISS108 spun Love Story for the first time in connection with her amazing performance yesterday! And WBHT Wilkes Barre has spun Love Story, they were a very very good early supporter of Over It and let's hope they put her right into rotation with Love Story!
Kat's at #169 on Pop with 13 spins and has an AI of 0.086 She now has a total of 14 spins since 15th May, with 2 new spins since yesterday.mil.
She has been played on a total of 10 reporting stations in the US. Hopefully that will pick up even more this week!! |

And looking at the songs released on the 22nd I think it wasa good idea to go with the 29th. fmqb always had the 29th, AllAccess cahnged it to the 29th about a week ago. |

MONDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 5/21/07
Another Big Market for Love Story!!!
The weekend was slow for Love Story with all the weenend shows but Love Story got another BIG market yesterday. Love Story got it's first spin in Seattle!! KBKS Seattle played her for the first time yesterday. This is actually very early compared to their first spin of Over It, which they were still playing once a day and so it seems they replaced that spin with Love Story. Kat also picked up another spin on KISS 108 in Boston!
Here are Love Story's chart positions
Kat's at #160 on Pop with 15 spins and has an AI of 0.108 mil. She now has a total of 16 spins since 15th May, with 2 new spins since yesterday
In Canada:
Love Story is #131 with 20 spins this week. on Canadian HAC.
Hopefully we will see a big upturn this week! But Love Story is getting some good early action in Big markets! Let's start requesting in those markets and get it into rotation soon! |
