Hi I am new to the boards since about a week ago...I live in the New Orleans area and I think Katharine McPhee is one of the most incredible young performers to come along in a while.  She is the perfect combination of a fine contemporary pop artist with an old school diva flavor (ala Judy Garland, Julie Andrews.)  This girl could single handedly revitalize the film musical industry. Anyway...I am a McPhan. I plan to see the tour in Charlotte.  For those of you who have never been to New Orleans...We are still here..and the restaurants are still serving the best food around. We are coming back slowly but stronger and better than ever.

Good to see that Katrina did not kill the Creole spirit of New Orleans. KAT has done such a great job bringing so many groups of people together in support of her. We have definitely seen to it that a "star is born."

New Orleans Rocks! Never been there but I seen "The Notebook" movie and I understand it was shot in the soulful New Orleans.Welcome!!
