I talk about Kat in real life more than I probably should and you have no idea how many times my parents tell me to be quiet. I bet my dog is trying to tell me to shut up too xP. It's good to be with a lot of other Kat fans that appreciate her greatness and want to talk about her. Some actually having the same problem as me xP. So, I am glad I finally signed up and I'm sure I will have fun here!

I think my dog has learned to tune me out anyway xD. I have a lot of McPhan friends. Even they get mad at me for talking about Kat so much xP. One of my friends used to want Taylor to win but now she likes Kat and I'm not sure if that's my fault xD. None of them have joined this site, though.

im so glad people have the same problem as me! my family gets mad at me for talking about kat so much-when her cd is coming out, fun facts, magazines i need to go get-and my sister and brother think that i'm weird for being so obsessed about it. but i don't care, i just come here and realize that i'm definitely not the only one! so thanks mcphans

I constantly find myself talking about Katharine, following her career, looking at items on EBay and checking out this great website! I NEVER followed an American Idol prior to this, but Kat is different. She has such appeal and she will be a BIG STAR!

Yes, you have come to the right place! Pretty much everyone here is in McPheever land at some time or the other! My family probably got tired of hearing me talk so much about Katharine during AI too, although I did "recruit" them as McPhans by doing so!

I know I'm in tune with everyone in here. I know I drive all my friends nuts with my Kat talk. My friends expect it of me because I have a weakness for young female singers, but Kat is most definitely different. More than just admiring her singing or her general personality, I find I have a genuine affection toward her--a sense of protectiveness, I suppose. And that's not typical at all. I'm guesing that's partly because of all the bashing she took--just made me mad and made me like her more. So I guess the bashers are useful in a twisted sorta way! ;)

So happy and relieved to find this thread today. I really need it badly! Went to a retirement party with friends yesterday and got a few "snide" comments about my love for Katharine etc. I think they are judging me as being too"old" for the whole AI thing or something. Thank God and Goddess for this site. I feel so very grateful to be able to come here and talk with friends and supporters of Katharine.Blessings always to KMF and all the great McPhans. p.s. one good thing that came out of it I guess is that I came home and wrote a nice poem for Kat.
