And hello meltdown of server when it hits 5,000 before summer is over here in the States! Congratulations to Chad and the mods for making this site get better by the day. I'm starting to recruit some high-quality people from the 'AI' board to get over here and post regularly. Once we get them here on a regular basis, this place will be Kat Central #1 in my mind. The 'AI' board is careening down some other kind of road that will just trail off eventually. But I can understand why some (Diane for one) just feel more at home over there for the time being out of habit. The transition will just have to happen gradually. While I jest about the server, I truly hope it can withstand more visitors in the future. I've seen other popular indie sites like this one for a beloved star that become TOO popular--and ultimately collapse from a weaker server. I'm assuming Chad has this all prepared for the eventual onslaught. I predict Kat's popularity will continue to get bigger and bigger over the summer...hitting a fever pitch when her album comes out in the fall. It still takes time on occasion for a major talent to get to the very top. However, it'll only be a matter of months with Katharine. Anyway, I'm glad to take part here. I'll continue to--despite probably taking some breaks from posting now and then during the summer to focus on some important projects I'm finishing this summer.

Thanks guys. KMF wouldn't be Kat's fans' home without members like you. I actually deleted 484 users because they were never active (most likely because they used AOL email when registering and AOL blocked KMF emails at the time). I will be purchasing a new server if needed. I believe the current server is fine tuned so it should withstand more traffic than before. It was hard to gauge what the settings needed to be with a ton of traffic without getting the traffic, so I think we finally figured it out after the last episode ofsluggishness. Thanks again for your kind words, and be sure to take time out to send a thank you to all the moderators. KMF would not be what it is without them.
