Ok I registered on this site for the express purpose of assuring all Kat fans that bronchitis is not something that you take lightly...I am an older dude and have experienced this condition several times..I lost my speaking voice completely and could only utter a grunt ..It took at least two weeks for me to even get my speaking voice back where I could converse enough to go back to work..I can only imagine what it would be like to try and sing...You are truly sick and all I wanted to do was take my medication and sleep..You have very little appetite as your taste is also gone... Some people wonder why Kat has not appeared on the tour if just to make an appearance...Let me assure you she does not need the grind of that until she has fully recovered... She is wise to listen to her doctors as trying to come back too early could ruin a very promising career..I know it must be hard on Kat not to be able to get before her fans on the tour but time is the only cure for this condition...I truly hope her fans can understand the situation and I hope this beautiful young lady can soon return to her fans.. Welcome and thank you for your considerate message. Not sure if you are a Kat fan or just expressing your experience about her sickness. If you're not her fan already, you might have just caught McPheever since you've found a way to get here. Yes, it's extremely contagious. Hope you enjoy yourself here.

hey guys this sweetheart has to have 2months off to really recover thats what my doctor told me he loves SWOR If I were her mgr or doctor I make sure she had that much time no sence in fooling around with that beautiful voice sorry about her fans missing her but this is more important

In reply yes I am a Kat fan in that I recognize her talent with that beautiful voice and range....She looks great which doesn't hurt either....I gave my votes to another contestant though but one can't deny the future that this young lady has...My post was to those that have complained about Kat not at least making an appearance on the tour whether she was able to sing or not....If you understand the condition you might understand the cure...She just can't take any risk...I doubt if she is giving out any kisses right now lol... I was in sales when I got bronchitis and I pushed myself to continue working. By the end of the 3rd day, I almost had no speaking voice. I sounded a bit like Demi Moore and Barry White. Anyway, because I didn't listen to my body, my bronchitis turned into pneumonia and I ended up VERY sick. I finally started to get my voice back after 1 month. Actually, Kelly Clarkson had bronchitis last year when she performed at the VMAs and sounded rather "not herself" when performing "Since U Been Gone". She had toured and toured and worked all year, practically without a break, and said she thought the coughing was just all the flying and such. Anyway, because she continued to work, and didn't rest, her bronchitis also turned into pneumonia, and she had to cancel several tour dates in Sept. She did however perform one song for the Katrina victims during her illness, and you could hear her struggling to get air and she looked terribly exhausted as well. What I'm saying, in my long winded way is, I'm SO GLAD Kat is taking time to get better. In the long run, it's better to disappoint the fans for a while, than disappoint them forever by losing a remarkable God given talent by trying to work through an illness. It's just not worth the risk. So, I didn't see her my town, big deal, I'll see her one day. and I will still be like this when I do ---->
