Hello, to all of you lovely people here on Katharinefans.  Annie is my name.  Big Bear Lake in Calif. is where I make my home.  I've watched you wonderful Katharine fans from a distance for quite some time, and have finally decided to join in the great community here at Katharinefans.com.  I love everything about Katharine McPhee and can't wait to see her in motion pictures, too. I am an actress also -- which in my case, usually means lots of waitressing.  I hope to get to know you all better!

Welcome to the board, Annie.

You're in fine company with another Annie here (actually Anne) who lives up in Vancouver, B.C.--though she hasn't posted in a while. So Ann(ie) is an uncommonly good name. And, you're probably aware of Katharine's connection to the name when she did a local stage production of 'Annie Get Your Gun' in CA a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, she never played Little Orphan Annie on Broadway...or the connection would have been more than coincidence.

I see you're an aspiring actress--so you'll feel right at home with some of us who are aspiring artists in various fields. Some just are artistic as a hobby and others are trying to make it as a career. That makes this place somewhat of a bohemian society while we celebrate Kat. And Kat, of course, hung around similar environments herself when in college.

This site is really growing in leaps and bounds recently. Feel free to contribute as much as you want to the board--because that's a good chunk of what makes this site what it is. Though there's plenty more to see from owner, Chad, and the great mods here. I think you'll discover that it's probably the leading site devoted to Kat...and increasing that stature day by day. Where else will you find Kat communicating directly to the webmaster and to us?

Welcome Annie! From Big Bear? Wow! I'm not sure if we have any members living in Big Bear. Do you have a large cabin? Hmm.... maybe we should organize a weekend retreat (with Kat of course!) among the local McPhans in LA and stay at your place? Good idea, right?

That's funny, katidol! Sure, come on up! I'd love to hang out with all you Kat Packers. We might be getting to know each a little TOO well, though, 'cause my cabin is probably the littlest one in Big Bear! Haha, there's barely enough room for me and my animals as it is.
