GREAT JOB, MICHELLE!!! I'm viewing it as I thank ya for this. the audio is great, but the volume is a little soft? The picture quality is excellent

Thanks Michelle! For some crazy reason I got an error message on both files in the other thread. Success with one here, trying the other. Too weird.

The autograph one is great. I have so many pix of Kat in my head I was already starting to not be able to remember the autograph. This is wonderful.

Nice work Michelle, Thanks for the video. This is one of those rare opportunities where we get to see Kat in the daylight without a bunch of studio lights and I think we all can agree that she really is naturally beautiful. Many people talk about how incredible she is in person, even more gorgeous than in pics and video, and I think this video proves that (yes it is video but in natural daylight) - all I can say is wow! Now if only the audio team could get the sound right. Amazing all the issue she has with sound so far. It really isn't rocket science to make sure the music plays when it is suppose to and plays correctly all the way through - Come on sound people, lets do our girl justice!

I just watched all twenty minutes of this (though had to re-route it through another media player because it wouldn't work in the default for Quicktime) and was blown away. Thanks to you, Michelle, for getting some of the most incredible complete concert footage I've ever seen of Kat at just about any time. This even beats some of the close-up performances during the Idol tour last year. And, as Doug pointed out, being outdoors--it gives you a chance to see Kat being more free...and displaying her beauty under primarily natural light. No surprise she looks even better when under natural conditions. She came precariously close to swallowing a few fly-by bugs though.

That sound issue just added some character to the show. I heard some people yell out "Michael Buble" when she started doing the a cappella 'Feelin' Good.' I guess it's so strongly associated with him lately that people forget the PCD's did it too last year. Though Kat's is the best I've heard it done in a more soulful way anyway. I wish she'd do a complete performance of it, despite it shifting rhythm once you get out of the intro.

Seeing Kat's expressions here is what's really the best thing. You have to see her eyes when she's performing, because she conveys so much through them--no matter what she's performing. The emotion that pours out during 'Mary Jane' is palpable. Despite some chatty people near the camera, I imagine you could ordinarily hear a pin drop while she sang that.

Yeah, that skipping problem on pre-recorded backing accompaniment is a big problem with other performers too. Too bad Kat couldn't tour with her regular band. It was probably just too much of an expense though. The CD's they pop in for the backing tracks probably just need to be cleaned up. I'm assuming a simple CD cleaner would help. Or maybe some pink slips for the sound crew are in order...and I don't mean tutus.

If you save any footage from this mini concert tour--this is the one. It's obvious that Kat's feeling and looking great. She just glows during her entire set.

It wouldn'ta killed RCA to give her the bare minimum--keyboards, percussion and a good guitarist--plus The Dancing Sparks Sisters (Jordin couldn't be there, she's busy right now). That was all it took to make the aol sessoins and VH1 acoustic sessions real heart stoppers. Or okay, keyboard with good built-in percussion. Whatever she's using right now just isn't doing the job properly. Chalk it all up to a learning experience... but I'd like for the crowds to see her at her best, that's all. Maybe showing them that she can perform even without a functional track IS showing her at her best, though... because some people would just be lost.

PS some people can't access megaupload.

I watched the youtube version and kind of read her lips about the LS video. Then I realized that most things work better when they're plugged in, so I turned on my speakers.

Now I can't remember what thread the Youtube link was in because it doesn't seem to be here. Anybody know? I suppose I could always just go search on Youtube.com.

This video is excellent!!!

Poor thing, why wouldn't they check if the CD was clean?!!!. Thankfully she handle the situation like a pro and her voice was enough to let everyone astonished. She's a natural entertainer.

I took MichelleF's  MOV file and re-encoded it to DivX trying best I could to keep the quality HQ without bloating the file too much.  After converting it I uploaded it to my Stage 6 account, so here is a streamable and downloadable version of this concert video in a DivX format.  If you have highspeed internet and hate downloads you can watch this great video "on demand" at near to source quality.
