 LOL! That was fun to watch. I wonder if her remark about the cracks was really off the cuff. If so, I'm impressed! Very quick of her I'd say, not to mention a riot about the OCD.  I love how comfortable Kat always looks during her interviews these days.

I love when she lets us in on behind the scenes stuff like the different lyrics. I knew Loev Story was totally reworked, but Open Toes, too?

Not stepping on the cracks is just being superstitious--even though that's an off-branch of OCD. If Kat really had OCD, she wouldn't be able to live on that tour bus, believe me, without needing oxygen tanks. I think we all have our little OCD moments...but even I couldn't live on that tour bus for an extended amount of time.

Anyway, that was a nice little interview (thanks for finding it)--despite the shrill reporter. But that reporter had to talk that way to be heard over the obvious intense crowd noise. That Denim & Diamonds event was quite meaningful as all these charity events are with Kat gracing the stage. And, yes, just about all of us have had cancer deaths in our families.  I don't think there's a family in human history that hasn't had at least one cancer death, unfortunately. Nevertheless, preventative methods are still there--especially when you note that cancer deaths in your past family history were probably due to diet or smoking.

On Kat working with various artists: I hope she gets her wishes for all those she mentioned. She has a unique communicative ability when doing collabs that not every artist has. I'm not sure how well working with Justin would end up though--despite my thinking he probably loves her and may not admit it to his associates. And I'm surprised to hear Kat say she'd like to sing with Celine. Even Celine probably won't be able to make an album for a while considering the age of the power ballad being dead at the moment. Celine's fairly adaptable, though, and probably could do some other style on an album...despite that taking her away from what she does best.

Really, sometimes I think the power ballad genre isn't really dead...but just needs to be re-awakened from its state in purgatory.

This is the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. I wonder how she came to be affiliated with them? More caring and compassion from our favorite girl. She's amazing!!!
