Well I said I was gonna cap the preview and so here it is...

31MB: http://www.sendspace.com/file/9pvwv7

Diff, why is mine 31MB and yours is 44?   I wonder if it's because I trimmed the top part for noise lines.

You get Insider on CBS, which is 1080i and 30 frames per second, assuming you capped SD on HD. I get Insider on a 720p channel, which is 60 frames per second. Extra frames = bigger file. 60fps supposedly should give smoother motion, but for nonHD I'm not sure it's that big of a deal. I figured I'd keep it 60fps for screencappers. but of course a better quality video will be out any day now!

OT, but not really, I recently learned that the lines at the top is actually data. Analog closed captioning is stored there and the MPEG encoding carried it over into the digital signal. If you look real close, there's a pattern. Look closely. You are getting sleepy...

I could cap from the non HD channel.  Should I try that?  If there's two different caps already up I'm only gonna do mine if it's better quality.

Your HD channel should give a better cap by far. The SD channel will be something like 528x480 or 704(?)x480, much smaller than the HD channel's 1440x1080 picture.

which is most of the time, thanks to my crappy local broadcasters & cable co! I'm working on restoring my ability to cap HD cbs and fox, btw. (Insert shifty)

Ok, cool.  I'll just stick to the game plan!

Thanks for the cap!

To be great is to be misunderstood.
