The AC3 is the untranscoded cap so no decompress/recompress at all but doesn't have a fadein or fadeout. I'm still working on how to edit to AC3

Sorry, what I meant was I think it's 5.1 AC3 but only 2 channels have sound.
Does it play in 5.1? I decompressed his and mine to 6ch wav and got only left and right. The other channels are mute. Can you do me a favor and check how it sounds? Maybe my decompressor is bad.
oh and btw my audio drops out a couple of times right at the beginning when Jay is saying the intro, from caps of both cable and OTA. Thanks local NBC.
That's exactly what I was thinking. What if Katharine had done something like this on January 27 instead of July 27? You can't tell me this wouldn't have gotten people to buy her record. This is, "Look at the NEW KATHARINE world. I can sing, I can dance, I can knock a mic stand out...I'M A FREAKIN POP STAR!"
Not a boring, apprehensive performance of a nice, but unmemorable song like OI. That's the thing about this performance. You don't even have to like the song. The PERFORMANCE was amazing. This is what she should have been doing all along. And a live band! What a concept! Shows how much we've been missing all this time.
This was just awesome. But it makes me sad about what could have been...
The question is...why did it take a performance on Leno to finally unleash this Katharine on the world? Was it because this is probably the last time she's going to sing on TV for a very long time?
Regardless, at least we'll have this one for the archives...and what a difference from Wednesday's R&K performances. She's was alright on R&K but I think there was something about that small studio and maybe the time of day that made it seem like she was almost at half speed. Although you compare to this and anything would look half speed.
Everybody should go watch Leno from January again and then watch this...what a difference!
