This truly shows that Kat's becoming the emblem of goodwill in Hollywood lately. It's a title she can easily live up to--and one she'll hopefully sustain...even into superstardom.
You'll notice those kids really respond to her there--which is probably amazing considering that they likely have a hard time sustaining high spirits often due to their unfortunate illnesses. Kat's working real hard there to make sure they have a good time through musical interactivity. And anybody sitting that close to her as she belts out the opening strains of 'SOTR' probably will have a natural high of feeling better for a week or more.
That's what I've frequently said here as a testament to Kat's ability to make people feel better on a mental level. With those kids--she's able to make them forget their problems and undoubtedly have a placebo effect of well-being for quite a while after she leaves. In some cases, it may not be out of the question to see some real healing effects, too, when you connect mental well-being to mental health.
Not to promote the fanfics here (well, why not? )--but those new here may want to give my "Three Ambassadors of the Lollipop Theatre Guild" tale from last Christmastime as a tie-in to this story and to expand on the ideas of those feelings of well-being making a true difference.
