What a beautiful rendition of Silent Night! Except for Peisha's mike not working, it was a truly equisite performance!!!
No one else has mentioned it yet, but as a Mom, I picked up on Peisha "persuading" her daughter to stay seated as Momma McPhee sang her solo part! Ah, the gentle, but firm, hand on Kat's shoulder to let her know that Mom had things under control! I loved it!!!
Their voices rang out as clear as the bells of this Holiday Season. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have experienced "goose bumps"!!!!

Yes. I've had problems with them too. I've had much better luck with the Sendspace downloads.
Use the download link at DivShare, rather than trying to watch the stream, it is a small file and definitely worth having. You can stream it at YouTube as well...

Thank you so much for this coverage of Kat and Peisha duet. It is the best mother and child act this year. Two beautiful, wonderful and talented singers. What more could California ever want to grace state events than having the McPhees around. Lisa Giibons is a big fan, I can tell. Next time, they just have to get ready with 3 working mics, in case one failed, they wouldn't have to share mics. How many times could this kind of event happen when a celebrity mother and her singer-actress daughter perform in public? Rarely. One of a kind, indeed too. Speaking of 3 mics, Adrianna should have been invited as well to make that knock-out McPhee Trio I've been longing to see. I'm sure Papa McPhee is so used to seeing his girls do trios and duet all the time. Who knows, maybe next year it would be the McPhee sisters duet, or the trio indeed. I love blending voices- that is, duets and trios, quartets, ensemble, choir, etc.
Kat is such a sweet girl. She is her mother's daughter indeed. She played along by sitting down on her mother's cue, feeling her mother's love. Because Peisha's mic wasn't working, she took the chance to put her arm around her daughter after getting Kat's mic. Whereas, if Peisha's mic was working, she might have just sat on her own chair and sang the duet. Peisha has raised a wonderful and talented girl and she's enjoying this night. She took her own solo part, with Kat sitting down, inspite of Kat's wanting to stand up at that moment to take on their duet. There were uneven audio part in the duet because Kat held the mic closer to herself, perhaps unknowingly, but the ending was beautiful and strong as Peisha revved up her voice. I'm sure the audience heard their duet differently and with more audio, but to us depending on the video clip, the duet audio is not very good, but of course, again, due to Peisha not having her own mic. Kat's mic was working fine and so, overall, it was a good performance, regardless. Thanks to you all, the videographers and techs, for your tireless efforts. We all know that anything of Kat's is valuable and greatly appreciated. You guys are all wonderful and great Kat fans!
BTW, sorry for your trouble there with divshare. I don't have problem with divshare, though. Maybe it has to do with power and memory. I use a sony laptop intel core 2 dou (centrino) with 2 ghz processor, 2 gig ram and 250 hd. Pretty fast indeed. (Sony Vaio VGN - FZ240E now on sale at best buy for $1,099)

Thanks for all of the videos winnpoober! I really enjoy the fan vids since we get a better look at some of the more casual interacting, the rehearsal etc. etc. Seeing Kat and Momma P. singing together was really a special treat!! . The rehearsal definitely showed amazing harmonizing, and most of it could be heard during the final performance in spite of sharing a mic. This was a terrific performance -loved it!! .Linda I'm looking forward to the photos you mentioned!

I've been playing around with mixing the stream audio with winnpoober's audio. I'll do a straight streamed vid + winnpoober's audio in a little while.
The stream had more closeness sound and stronger highs, but also some compression artifacts. winnpoober's had better lows, mids, and echo ambience, imo.
I made 4 different blends with varying amounts of stream+winnpoober's audio. They're in zips
