I love it!!
BTW How do I embed video here on KMF?
OMG! She's a natural! She's so great in front of the camera. Beautiful, grabs your attention, and convinces you to buy the product. This girl can sell, sell, SELL! If this is where we are actually seeing a form of acting starting off her acting career, I'd say she is on the right track! Now of course in movies, acting is different than on commericals but the same elements still apply. What a natural!
Awesome commercial. Katharine showing her mature side
This is fantastic to see (thanks to Bill and Groucho for the links)--though found the "because your acne is different" line to be a tad amusing if perplexing. I think it's safe to say that Kat's skin is different, in that she's in the 1% bracket of people blessed with perfect skin since birth. There really isn't any celebrity out there who doesn't have more beautiful fair skin than she does, which makes Kat doing commercials for Neutrogena to still be an interesting choice. But, here, it's more about picking someone who can sell it...and Kat can sell a pile of dung. <---Not that this one is worth even a cent. Besides, that gif still looks like a hot cinnamon roll to me.
Well, I have similar fair skin to Kat's, though (being a guy) had some normal acne when a teen. It wasn't severe, though. This SkinID thing seems like a good idea and one that a lot of people with severe problems and a lot of frustration might find solace in. Of course, dermatologists will probably call foul on whether it's a good idea to have someone you don't even see mix up an acne formula based on what you enter into a computer about your skin. However, I support it (especially since I've had bad experiences with dermatologists) and good to see Kat promoting something innovative that will hopefully help millions of people.
There isn't any doubt that Kat is the perfect host or Madison Avenue girl. I can't even imagine what she couldn't sell. Well, I could, but I know she wouldn't. I just hope all her future promotions of products are for things she truly believes in and not do it just for the dough.
Now, when exactly do these air--and does this count for the infomercial they're reportedly doing? If there's a longer infomercial on the way, we'll have to stay up until 3 in the morning to see it since that's when they normally air. Well, I guess some air on weekday afternoons, too, when the networks have nothing else to air.
The best block is right around midnight on Saturday or Sunday nights when people are generally still up.
You must be an insomniac. I stay up late, but not THAT late, and I definitely wouldn't wake up that early unless I had a flight to catch. HGTV was way out on channel 68 when I had cable TV; now that I'm stuck with over-the-air channels, I guess I won't be able to see the full infomercial.
