One thing that has certainly been made crystal clear over the last year plus  is Katharine has a highly energized "on" side that she taps when she has to perform.  That Self magazine thing was a performance and don't think for a second that Kat was bouncing around like that when the music stopped.  I've read enough "first person" accounts of Katharine at parties on blogs to pretty much know that most people are surprised at how, I want to say meek, but I really mean non-extroverted Katharine is in social settings, like she said she just latches onto the person she knows and most of the time it's Nick.

It ain't magic, just a combination of Idolforums, Refugees4McPhee and Google Alerts.
I just slither around all over the place. Usually somebody beats me to it.
