Entertainment Weekly has never been super kind to Katharine.  Although they did give her this compliment back when they were handicapping the Top 10 I think.

"In a world of Ashlee Simpsons, aspiring little Mariahs need a role model who can actually sing."

That was the blurb about why Katharine should win.  Although I think she was their 3rd or 4th choice.  At least Rolling Stone picked her 1st when they broke down the Top 12.  I think they had it Katharine, Chris, Kellie, Taylor.  Rolling Stone is smart.
