One of the many things I have always liked about Kat is that she will speak up about things, and obviously she has some strong feelings about this. I'm glad she had the opportunity to say what many of us think!

You go, Kat!!! He is a pig! I really hate his shows ... I just don't understand why a lot of people find Stern's shows to be entertaining ... Arrgghhhhhh that guy!!! Is there anything else in his mind other than "sex"?

Saying NO to Howard Stern! WAY TO GO KATHARINE! That is one show that Katharine should stay away from. I used to watch his TV show and I always took notice on the ways he exploits the women. He asks them if they want to get in bed with him, asks them how much they get paid, asks them to wear very revealing outfits that sometimes are considered "trashy". He'll ask them to do sexual-related things and sometimes the women are very uncomfortable doing these things. He's just a sick person and that only cares about sex (at least in my opinion) and someone like that, it is very smart for Katharine to stay away from. Kudos Katharine! Kudos on making the right choice. She's too sweet to go on a show a like that anyway because mostly the only women that are on that show are porn stars, playboy playmates and girls from Penthouse magazine. All girls that are in an industry that has sexual-related acts involved. I'm proud of Katharine for saying NO. It's like that one expression "Sticking it to the man".

Will Howard's minions retaliate now over on Kat's MySpace? Or will he be smart and just let it roll off his back? For the last question...I'm starting to see images like this: It's too bad more people can't say things like this about HS without the suck-ups to Howard going out and making that person's life hell by spamming their MySpace or doing other dirty tricks. Somehow I sense, though, that Howard respects Kat enough were he may just let it go rather than running with it on his show and causing problems. Right now, I'm glad Kat has her huge wall of security around her just for reasons like this. You never know what some of those people working for HS will do. They already spammed Kat's MySpace once before recently. And here Kat gets enough posters over there who press the 'Post Comment' button about 100 times too many... For a while there, there were rumors going around that Kat might appear on Howard's show last summer. At first, he was complimentary to her. There were even some rumors around that Adriana McPhee liked the show (I find that hard to believe) and that she was persuading Kat to go on the show. I've always considered that to be a false story...but who knows. It seems HS has a love-hate type of thing with most listeners out there. I, for one, respect women too much to even find myself tuning in to his show. I remember seeing his show on E! a few times back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I found myself turning the channel about halfway through from realizing that it was a waste of time. Yes, when you talk about nothing but sex and juvenile crap for an entire show...it gets a little annoying. Frankly, I'm glad Kat has the guts to say things like this without worrying about the repercussions. Someone has to step forward and set a precedent--and I think Kat may be setting a new one for celebs handling their own PR. Perhaps some celebs don't have the ability to function in the right way as their own PR person...but Kat can. While ruffling feathers, nobody can say that what Kat's said honestly about anything in the press hasn't been in complete agreement with most people out there. Her stance on fad diets and how 'AI' worked are just two profound examples that obviously changed a lot of people's perceptions. Kat's the first celebrity in a long time to truly show reality...

I was checking out Wikipedia (which always seems to come up in google searches) about Stern and some of his doings since I haven't heard him for years, and it seems there was some kind of standing joke about Eric The Midget, a constant caller-in who became a fixture on the show and something about a stunt where they would hook up balloons to his wheelchair and fly him off to meet Katharine. That's quirky enough, albeit still on the safe side of the line, so I don't know how that song parody took the turn it did. It sounded like Stern gave the guy her phone number and he turned into a pest, which started a real rift between her and HS, and if he actually aired a song with the words in that link, I think he'd better count her out as a future guest, ever.

Okay Beret7, Obviously from just words I can't tell if you are joking or not but in my post I was only focusing on the women he had on his show. I know he had other people on that show besides the women I mentioned above. I didn't mention the other people because I felt it was not relevant to this topic, I mean after all Katharine is a woman so I felt my post had to focus on the women audience and nobody else. Hope that clears things up

I'm sure he's gonna go on a rant come Monday, but hopefully the negative reaction of him and his huge fan base is outweighed by the positive reaction of people who look up to Katharine as a role model, and of parents who pay close attention to what their kids are up to. I seriously doubt Howard Stern's audience is Kat's demographic for music sales so I wouldn't worry about it. As for the cover of Steppin' Out magazine.....Katharine & Jennifer together again! Awwww!

i really don't know who howard stern is (i initially thought she was talking about Anna Nicole's partner), but if KAT feels that way about him, then i don't want to know him! he is not even worth my curiosity.

I didn't mean any bad references at all. I was only picking on the truth that some women don't naturally hang out in gay bars, but with Kat, she is openly vocal about it. I don't see anything wrong with it either. I also respect everyone's view.
