That's only if all ten of the winners attending the show hand Kat their glasses of champagne during the show...

A lot of artists are doing these private (or the despicable word "VIP") shows. Some are even willing to arrange it with their management to pay for the winner's airfare, hotel and meals, etc. That seems hugely generous...but I'm glad artists are starting to do this more lately rather than doing it for corporate America. I've seen so many artists turn to the dark side of doing mostly corporate gigs that shuts out the true fans out there. It also gives people who may be struggling financially and can't afford a concert ticket (well, Kat isn't up to the $90 per seat price yet) to see her show. I guarantee that once she becomes a superstar...you'll have to shell out the bucks to get in the front rows. Most front sections for superstar performers now are auctioned through Ticketmaster Auctions and the funds given to the artist's fave charity.

How strange it'd be, though, to perform for ten people when you're used to a sea of screaming fans. Kat seems fairly used to intimate performances, however. She's done some small club-like gigs that some performers actually prefer so they don't have to knock themselves out projecting. I'm guessing the venue for this will be similar so Kat can connect with the winners more while on stage. If the VIP section is way up in a private upper balcony somewhere (and, yes, sometimes that does happen)...Kat may as well be doing a dress rehearsal.

By the way, I doubt she'll do requests. And maybe she'll converse with the winners rather than do her usual stage patter. Such a simple process...yet quite a different performing concept.
