THURSDAY: Last year's 'American Idol' sweetheart Katharine McPhee visits Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

 

Last year's "American Idol" sweetheart Katharine McPhee lost out to Taylor Hicks, but her self-titled debut album of soulful pop delivered on the promise that McPhee has star potential beyond "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." The album's lead single, "Over It," is a huge hit, and she's set to make her feature film debut in "The Last Caller." In a promotional video, McPhee said that she hoped her debut album would balance her sweetheart image with her sexy side, too. Judging from its cover, she's there. Catch her at Six Flags Fiesta Texas at 6 p.m. Thursday. The concert is free with park admission; tickets are available on the day of the show on a first-come, first-served basis.

Amanda thanks for the post.  Unfortunately, I have been reading that Kat's appearance has been cancelled.  No info as to why. Hope rumor is wrong.

I was doubting the concert going on with all the floods occuring in the San Antonio area
