There's an FAQ on tvguide.com with one question about back issues:

Apparently you can order back issues--though they act like they have to hire a private investigator to track them down...so be prepared to pay a little more than the list price to acquire the issues you want.

Or, to make this easier, just call them at 800-866-1400 (customer service) to acquire about it. Hopefully you'll get someone in America and not somewhere in the middle of India...though even TV Guide is probably outsourcing now.

If they don't know who Katharine McPhee is--you could just tell them to talk to KMF's resident member from India, Yuvaram.

Anyway, if you don't have the issue of Katharine on the cover--you might want to get that too. That was Kat's official first cover (though Teen People was her first solo cover)--and it's a real keeper. Having Taylor and Elliott on there with her adds to the collectability. Though as I say that, it may not be worth as much as we think someday...based merely on the thought that everybody has one stashed away somewhere.
