This is a picture a fan took with Katharine as he waited outside to pick up his tickets for the L.A. stop of Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics tour. He said she was just standing out there in line. Like everyone else! I seriously would’ve died if I was two feet away from the hotness of McPhee! Anyway, apparently he got really good seats. He was 12 rows ahead of Katharine and her 4 guy friends (probably her gays), he was closer than Perez Hilton and Linda Perry, and even was feet away from Christina’s husband Jordan Bratman, who he took video of.

That's a good fan picture of her...and she looks relaxed and not as some celebrities would be if bothered while standing outside in line like that.

I hope Kat sets a precedent in Hollywood for not worrying about being yourself when out and about. I get so tired of celebs having to turn on a switch whenever a camera is on them...and they freak out when a camera catches them off-guard not putting on the pretense. This shows Kat has no pretense and is who she is, plus being comfortable with it. That sense of being real is the secret ingredient to handling Hollywood in today's times. It's not hard to figure out...yet it seems so elusive of a concept to so many down there.

At first, I thought the guy to the right was Nick (he wears a black leather coat on occasion)--but it obviously isn't. He wisely stays out of camera range now. From the sounds of things, he wasn't there anyway...and I agree that maybe some of Kat's gay friends went with her to this concert. I'm sure Christina, though, managed to bring in a lot of age groups to this show because of her diversity in sound now. The people standing outside look like people in their 30's and 40's to me...unless it's parents of teens.

Now this makes me curious as to how Christina performs 'Candyman' live on stage. Does she bring in a hoard of male dancers dressed in GI gear for that number as in the video? If so, the profit made on the show may be by the skin of their teeth, unless the ticket prices were extremely expensive.
