*.....dies.....* I just knew about the release of her single on the 19th and now this .... She is good at making suprises! I think this is what she meant when she says that she wants to give us a Christmas gift ... a surprise Christmas gift to be exact! Hahahhahaha .. Thank you so much, Kat! But I'm still a little confused how can I get this single .. because I'm pretty sure that this won't be released in Indonesia ... darn ...

Listening to her single as I download these pics, I am so happy for Kat I actually cried a little bit and I DON'T DO THAT !!!

I know at least 10 people that will be thrilled to get this single for Christmas, I hope they have plenty in stock.

If Walmart had a lifesize (or maybe bigger than lifesize) cardboard cutout of that shot at the front of their store...there'll be lines waiting around the block.

I don't know where these were acquired--though I'm guessing someone who bought it just scanned the pics off the actual CD. The fold marks on the absolutely beautiful alternate grass shot proves that.

Kat truly knows how to surprise us...just when we thought we could figure out her surprises. These songs were really a brilliant idea in catching us off guard. And here many of us were so darn sure she'd be putting out a couple of Christmas recordings on her official site. Logic doesn't always make reality--and I'm glad Kat threw us off the trail.

I knew we'd see some kind of outtake of that extremely famous shot lounging in the grass. I was hoping it'd be one of Kat cracking up laughing...and sure enough. While I like the pensive one on her site a little better--it's good to show both sides. Also, Kat must have spent untold hours taking photos in past months. She has so many different ones that turn up now it's absolutely mind-boggling. That one on the cover is just perfect and like it a lot better than the couch shot in the dark. I get the feeling her actual album cover may be something completely different from either one of those...so prepare to be surprised again.

That one of Kat lounging on a stone railing of some sort looks like Kat trying to conquer her sense of vertigo. It looks like if she moved one more inch back...she'd drop off a cliff into a dry California canyon. But I think that's my favorite of all of them because it's the familiar-looking Kat...yet still being sexy with clothes on.

I see a first of people hanging up CD liner notes on their walls around the holidays. Too bad we don't live in the LP era now when these pictures would be double their size.

Edit: That up-close one is obviously a close-up of the one in the grass. Absolutely stunning seeing her eyes up that close.

Kudos for this find! What a promotional coup! It's very, very obvious that RCA has some high expectations for their Kat and she just may not disappoint. I have 3 teenage grandchildren and my grandsons have girlfriends who have friends. 2006 Christmas stockings never looked so beautiful.

I don't even want to think what that might mean. And I truly have no idea what I'm talking about. That single cover plus the new Amazon picture (album cover?) just have my eyeballs dancing and my brain going to Oz ("I'm me-e-l-l-lting.....").
