I never imagined Love Story having a video that would fit with these pictures. But hey, I'm not complaining.
And that last picture in the bunch makes me think that if Hollywood really needs a new Love Goddess (I don't
know who has the title right now, it used to be Rita Hayworth), we've got one for them. All those Jessicas
can just move right over.

And also, please note, she seems barely made up, just a little emphasis on the eyes and cheekbones, but mostly
that's just pure Katharine.

As opposed to the lyric of the song.....this is not your typical love story!Kat crawling across a table,past a smashed slice of birthday cake and a cocktail; and looking ticked-off was definitely not what I expected(?not happy with the chocolate cake?)..Can't wait to see how this scene evolves in the video!!Amazing that the Kat in glasses on her video blog can have so many looks here and in general!!

This like really bugs me. You see the frickin gorgeous pics that look like 4837438294789327i432847927 [with the "i" that i dont feel like erasing] times better and more interesting than the Over It video and yet you cant see it. hmph. But i love em!!

She is busy that day with an appearance in CBS Early Morning Show:

^What a tres chic move that is. Oh, and...."Kat's Perfectly-Positioned Birthmark!!!" Ditto for the sparkle on her back...which I have unfortunate phobia of. If I get one speck of that stuff on me from a person (or greeting card)...I run for a place where there's water.

Thanks for all the pics from that...and I couldn't possibly guess what the plot is for 'LS' from all of the hodgepodge there. Nevertheless, this is obviously going to be edgier than 'Over It' was by a mile. I like that look with the backup singers a lot. That gives sort of a retro feel to it--almost a Vegasy 60's vibe somehow. Oh, and that shot of Kat in the beret and thick lipstick makes me expect her to start speaking French any minute...while sticking a cigarette butt up to her lips. Another check for how Kat can change her persona so easily with just the right makeup and hat.

I won't even try to explain what that move is on the table with the cake (and people holding bottles of booze)--but her crawling on tables has become almost her trademark in some shots of late. That one she did for BSH while crawling like a panther on a shiny corporate boardroom table was classic. Somehow I picture her doing that at RCA exec meetings to get what she wants on her second album. I'm sure the old suits there wouldn't mind...that is if their hearts are stronger than Groucho's.

That rumor of this debuting on July 6 is all over the place--though I can't imagine they could get this ready that fast. The same rumors came out for 'OI' last spring that it was going to be out within weeks of shooting completion. In reality, it's up to the producer or director. They have to edit it, etc., and it'll be ready when the director's vision is satisfied. That can take months sometimes.

Groucho, I concur.

I'm with you a hundred percent. It's pure Katharine in those looks--just almost the natural, and yet acutely feminine----pale-painted cheek bones and lips, no heavy dark shadows, just the highlighted hair. And, yes, leave it uncombed (the messier the better). That's the difference between Kat and Xtina---Kat is more physically natural in more ways (as far as make-up is concerned). It's Kat's poses and her looks that create the drama for her. She's got the right matured grown healthy body as opposed to the popular Hollywood Richie, Flynn-Boyle, Flockhart- thin physique also medically known as the "emaciated" look. 

I prefer this make-up on her to the one she wore during the carousel ball (and that was already light, I thought)

Amazing how most of the guys take that crawling on the boardroom table really hot, and I'm sure I know why. Well, from a female standpoint, I go for the picture below. It's an interesting pose--one eye being covered by her hair and one with that uncompromising gaze. She won't be accused of being boring or fake in this picture. I see a rebel in that character oozing with self-confidence and it immediately translates into pure sexiness.

The next Rita Hayworth is here.  Position is filled.  ALBA, BIEL, and SIMPSON need not apply.

The "crawling across the table" shot that Phee dug up from that Sexy Hair shoot was the best one.
This one (below) is the supersexy shot from this batch, so far.  Minimal skin, just face, hair and attitude.

I have to say that I don't like the shot of Kat on the bar. . .it's just so cliche for a video these days. And the dark nail polish doesn't do much for me, either. I don't like Kat in dark lipstick and looking overly made up. I think she's far too beautiful and classy for all that extra make-up. The last pic with her hair all messy. . .now that is HOT! LOL

Misha516, I'm with you on that messy hair picture. I like that much better than the one crawling on the table.

These photos from the LS video is making everyone agonize for that LS video itself. It's funny because Kat has turned into the "sexy idol" instead of the hit-maker idol from all the publicities and magazine covers she is on. This reminds me of Lauren Bacall's famous quotes. I've posted them on another thread before but I'll post them here now. My point is: Kat is great looking without going into the popular thin-physique anorexic look of some Hollywood stars. Kat is beautiful, healthy and very talented. She definitely photographs well and even that alone could translate her into immediate stardom. So true....
However, let's keep on requesting for LS, the single.
