Dearest Kat, Oh My, who can write a word coherently after reading your sweet letter. I can't imagine it not bringing all your Phans to tears. I was reading it to my husband and I couldn't hardly read it through the tears and my voice cracking up. He didn't tease me either, he really suffers McPheever in silence, I do believe. You have made my day along with so many, I am sure. I thank you so much for being the considerate person you are and for remembering us all. I'm not sure how you affected me so deeply, I've never had this happen before, you made me love you, that's a song isn't it, I just couldn't help myself. I was lost from the first moment I heard your angelic voice and I want to stay lost for as long as I have breath. Thank you for giving yourself to us. We all miss you terribly like you were a dear friend or sister. I hope you know just how much you are truly loved by all of us. Stay your sweet self and don't let Hollywood change you too much. Actually, I don't think the blog is updated much anymore. However, I've been working on this myspace page specificially for the Kat Pack. You dont have to be a member in order to read it. I'm not worried about buying Teen People. I got my baptism of fire when I found an article on the Idol Top Four in something like National Enquirer, can't even remember which one it was now, but I didn't think twice, just grabbed it up going through the line at KMart. On the way home, I remember thinking well, how many years has it been since you did that? I belong to organized fan groups for exactly two people, and they're both nice enough to actually go on-line and keep in touch with their fans. Believe me, there's nothing like that to energize a fan base, because it makes us feel like we're actually part of the journey from starting line through initial public awareness to stardom, and then on to superstardom. Everyone's career, even that of people who are household names, has ups and downs, but when it's known that you have a core following of people who love everything you do and will go see, or buy, anything you're part of, the offers are going to keep coming. That's our job as fans. Katharine's job is just to keep doing what she does and knowing we're behind her. Katharine, you make us proud. I know, wrong song, what the heck, it's true anyway.
