It's so nice to hear from you Kat. Thank you for taking time out to contact us and for thinking of us. You know we never believe anything that we hear that doesn't come from you. We are very loyal and faithful to you and nothing will change that. Keep taking care of yourself. We've all been saying prayers and wishing you the best. The July 21st tour date in Rochester is one of the dates I'm going to, so I hope to see you there and maybe even be the first to get to hear your beautiful voice. But, if not, I'll see you in Syracuse. Just focus on getting completely healthy - don't make us worry about you. We all feel so connected to you and it's an amazing feeling to hear that you feel that way as well. Enjoy any relaxation time you have - you have a long and busy future ahead of you. Love you sooo much Katharine and thank you for being there for us!

she's really a smart and grounded talented girl. she knows how to handle the business just fine. Kat, get well really soon! i hope you can talk freely by now, it mustve been hard not being able to talk for many days, but at least you get to watch all the movies you wanna watch, right! thanks for taking time as always!

we know that one day you won't be able to catch up with us, and letters and sweet messages for us, coz you'll be all busy with your career, but dont you worry, we understand, and are already preparing for that time. and i know you won't forget about us, coz we are soooo the biggest fans! WE LOVE YOU KAT, and we know better, than those stupid rumor mills!

I feel horrible for the fans that missed me and would love to make up to you all some how.
I was at the second show of the AI tour in Manchester, NH. Although it was great, it was definitely lacking without Katharine. I was very disappointed that my favorite (by a lot) wasn't performing. 

I think the most reasonable and logical way to make it up to us would be for Katharine to get well quickly and completely and make a return visit to New England as soon as possible! I, for one, would like to see her headline a show even if it means smaller venues. Of course, there are plenty of other unrealistic ways to have it made up to us as well! ;>)

The first thing out of my mouth when I heard the news that she wasn't going to be at the show was "Well, I'll just have to see her when she comes here on her own." I hope it's soon! She is a fabulous performer!!

I'm sure she will definately make a trip back that way, when she is allowed to do so. She does enough for her fans already. She doesnt necessarily need to "make up" for anything. You will get to see her one day. Don't you worry!

Hey Kat. I just came home a little while ago from the American Idol's Live tour in Nassau Colliseum. I was really disapointed that you weren't there, but I know one day I'll get to see one of your own concerts, and I look forward to that! When I heard tonight at the concert that you weren't there, I was really sad. I had heard you have laryngitis, but I never heard of such a bad case that lasted so long. So I started getting nervous that, G-d forbid, something happened to you because of your stuggle with your eating disorder. I have to say, it hits home to me because I have been struggling for neearly five years with my eating disorder, with two hospital stays. When I came home tonight, I wanted to find out that it wasn't the case with you, and that I was just nervous about that for no reason. And thank G-d, I read here, that it is laryngitis, and it's only a few more days until you join the tour. As disappointed as I was that I didn't get to see you tonight, I could not be happier that your absense was not due to a relapse with your struggle. I would love to see the American Idol tour again sometime soon with you in it. I hopefully will be able to fly out somewhere to see you. I want you to know that I look to you for inspiration every day. I hope that one day I can be as strong as you. I wish you the best of luck in everything you do, forever.

I feel bad that she feels she has to justify her life. Some people tend to make a big deal out of nothing.
I was sorry to hear she was sick but when you're a singer, your health concerning your voice should come first.

I'm one of her fans that missed seeing her on tour and although I was disappointed, I understood.
But at least I have her CD and I saved a bunch of the idol shows so I can listen to her sing over and over again.
I hope she'll go out on tour by herself one day and I'll be first in line buying tickets.

I wish you well Kat. And don't rush back just to please us fans. Think about your health first.

aaawwwww...kat is so sweet...that's true don't listen to media because they are all false and i hope she gets better soon and go back on tour...even though i'm not going but i cant wait to hear all the excitedment from the mcphans on seeing kat! make sure to take some pictures to show me=P i wish i can go..i live in canada and there is no way my parent is gonna drive 14 hours to albany new york

I was very worried about you but now i'm glad to hear from you. I love your voice.You are a very talented person. I think that you flew through American Idol and you will get far in the future. I am true fan and love every single thing about you. I miss you so much on the show. I think you are very beautiful and I hope you feel great. I'll be hopefully standing in that audience watching you . It must have been very tiring all those weeks you sang on American IDOL.

Your voice should always come first since there's a great future ahead of you, be patient and follow your doctor's orders, he certainly knows what's best for you.

As your fans, I'm not gonna believe to any rumour or news if it's not from you, your family, and other Mcphans!
For me, your health is more important than anything (including the tours).
If you should have a rest for a week, than you should. And I'll wait for you.
So get well soon and don't think about anything beside your condition.

Do not in any way feel guilty for missing parts of your tour. All you should do right now is focus on getting better. <3 I know for a fact that i will never everr believe those stupid gossiping columnists who just want to make a story thats not even CLOSE to being the truth. you dont deserve to be treated like that - the way they have made stupid lies up. its so horrible, especially since you arent feeling well.

im very worried though kat! i came to the Atlantic City tour on the 23rd, and you were still ill. is everything okay? are you feeling worse? please update soon and tell us how you are feeling! we are all deeply concerned. <3 all we want is for you to recover and get well so we can hear your beautiful voice again.
