Just saw msg and confirmed on the Gray Charles site, Taylor will be performing at the Billboard Awards on Dec 4.

Well, I hope he sings something within his range, because a lot of people will actually be watching this.

Maybe he can get Katharine to help him out, like she did on "We made it through the rain"

I hear Britney Spears has cancelled out, pobably due to those pictures. Maybe Katharine will be bounced up a bit in the presentation hierarchy, or even get to perform? Assuming Britney was going to perform...nah, that's a long shot, though I'm sure she is up to it.

I'm actually curious to see Taylor perform live for the first time on a major stage other done Idol, doing an original song...and I am most curious about how the crowd will react.

Well...I guess he just did Leno tonight.  I think that qualifies as a major stage.  Although the Billboards are in front of his "peers" so that'll be interesting.  It would be cool for Katharine to perform but...she doesn't have anything to perform.  Although...if she wanted to debut her single...

It's not time as yet to debut her single, that is, if they have even decided on a single release as yet. The best she could do would be IHN and there is nothing wrong with that on an international stage.

That was set up way too high for Taylor but Katharine sounded great, her usual warm, smooth, yummy sound. ?? Sorry, it just came out that way.

Yeah i didnt really want to see taylor perform or anything really. If katharine performs im going to have a heart attack so call 911 if she does!!!!!

I think Katharine was only scheduled to present, but with Britney Spears cancelling, perhaps they are doing some last minute changes. Was Britney going to be performing or just presenting? Because if she was to be performing, then they will need another singer won't they? Someone to take her place, someone even younger and much prettier and very current. Now who fits that bill? I just can't think of anyone. Suggestions???

I remember watching "Robin & Co." on CNN one morning...maybe yesterday or something, and they named the performers and I heard Kat's name mentioned, but I dismissed it b/c I thought it was most likely a mistake, although I'm really hoping it wasn't...but most likely it was.

I'd never seen that version of "Made It Thru The Rain" before.  Is that available for download anywhere?  Or as an MP3?  Seriously, if you watched that thing who would you think won Idol?  I realize that's not exactly a Taylor kind of song but still....and I bet Chris hates singing that stuff.

I'm sooo excited because this show will feature my two favorites (can you guess by my name?) and it will not have Taylor on!! Does it get any better? Only if they perform... but I can handle presenting for now!

I quite enjoy Taylor, and it is the oppourtunr time to promote his Album... so I think its cool that he is performing.... An added bonus would be, KAT and "OPEN TOES" .... OMG OMG.... *heh*

Yes, you would think that Katharine was American Idol. She is by far the best thing about this. Not really my kind of song, I put stuff like this in the "Beauty Pageant" category along with "I believe I can fly" and "My destiny", but Katharine does an excellent job and manages to look great and relaxed and like she is having fun all at once.

It is an extra treat to see rocker Chris trying to hide his disdain for the whole performance.

Since I've seen Fergie perform twice in two days.  Katharine isn't delicious.  She's "Katalicious".
