I agree with you, Katatonic Fan ... I really can't remember any of them .. I know they are all pretty and stuff ... but I can't remember their faces ... and their singing ...
I had the same trouble last year with the tall, dark-haired girls who were always in the back row during the top 24. EXCEPT for one who was a knockout when she sang. What was her name again? McPhee something?

I think Blake Lewis is gonna win this thing. He's unique, he's got a great voice, and he's pretty marketable. Girls and guys think he's cool and he already has a huge fanbase.

I think.. A.J and Sundance for Males, and One of the Amazing black girls will be Eliminated.. The last is Antonella (i know she has many loyal and Dedicated fans), but her controversy will destroy her sooner or later...I feel bad for her. She seems much better than her best friend... OK i know that's not fair, i should watch 'em first then i'll go back here to update my prediction.

Well..the guys certainly did ALOT better this week. I'll make my final decision on the bottom 2 tomorrow after the girls.

All I know is that if Sanjaya doesn't get the boot this week, there is something very wrong with the world in which we live. I think he was worse than some of the bad auditions that they show!!! Seriously, how can he be in the top 10 of the thousands that auditioned... its a nightmare!!

BUT sanjaya will be safe for the time being. Too many girls like him.

Tonight the guys brang it, so it's a tough choice.

Sanjaya's performance tonight was pretty cheesy. My 2nd grade daughter LOVED it, however, and even begged me to let her vote for him after the show so... I think probably she and many other teeny bopper girls will keep Sanjaya in the running a little longer. Maybe I'm just getting to be an old fart, but I don't get what people see in Sundance and Chris Robinson. Okay, so I'm gonna go back & rewatch the show tomorrow & probably put my predictions in Thursday morning.

I also apply the 'C' word on to Sanjaya's performance. And too bad Tony Bennett wasn't already on there to give vocal tips...because you have to bark 'Steppin' Out' into the mic and not whisper it. His moves were ok though--and he'll likely be safe in that twisted logic 'AI' world. The sympathy votes (well, there were probably lots of those tonight after the guys devoted their songs to certain family members) work quite well on that show...whether they're intentional or not.

Yes, I finally watched tonight after missing out on the performances last week. I finally know most of the names now--though I still have to refresh some names before giving out my choices for who should go home. So, I'll wait and give all four picks tomorrow night. For some reason, I'm able to remember the girls' names better than the guys. Maybe because the women have unique names...and the guys have names you'd see hundreds of places. Then again, Sundance is only a name you see in Aspen annually during their film festival.

I finally "got it" what people see in Blake. He has the best energy as a performer--and has some gimmicks we've never seen before. Jamiroquai's material has been underrated here in the States for a long time, even though he's had a few well-known hits here back in the late 90's. Overall, I think people would be more apt to accept the gimmick of someone impersonating a turntable over dancing themselves into a frenzy.

Out of quick logic: Sanjaya and A.J. would probably be my initial picks to go home. Though I'll likely make my official answer completely different tomorrow night...

Now watch the girls be awful tomorrow night after being great last week when I wasn't watching. It seems everybody steps up sometimes only when they have to...

It would be a travesty to have Sanjaya continue, but judging from last year's winner, stranger things have happened. This week, Sundance's vocals were great. I haven't yet analyzed things further, but will have my picks tomorrow.

The guys did step up quite a bit last night, except Sanjaya. I mean, he is so far behind. I really hope he is leaving this week. And the girls tonight.... shouldn't be Antonella's turn? She should have left last week.

Edit: OMG, I just checked dialidol and Sanjaya has the 2nd busiest signal of all guys. If they're correct, he might be the Top 2. Freak'in unbelievable!!

V - Please tell me you did not give Emily the phone.   Also, I completely disagree with Simon and gang saying Chris Richardson was the best of the night.  My boy, Blake, was awesome - I really think he's going all the way, I love everything about him. 

Also, those participating in the pool - please, stay away from Dial Idol and let's keep it honest.  BTW - Starting next week all picks will be due on Tuesdays!
