This is the info posted on TicketMaster. So far, seats are going for $290 and $185. This looks to be a fantastic show. Especially, if everyone listed performs!!!
My daughter is in Vegas right now and will be seeing Elton John. Sure hope she wins a huge amount so that she could take her "poor" Momma to see David Foster & Friends. This will be my dream music concert to attend. Doesn't get much better than the voices listed....and Katharine the only listed female performer!!!!!!! Her voice would blend beautifully with any of the other guests performing!
What a "magic spell" that show is sure to cast! Wow, wouldn't it be great if they taped it and made it into a DVD??!!!!!
All my favorite artists will be there.

good luck to you Linda, hope you get to see this show. sounds like a show not to be missed by any fan of any of these artists and especially Katharine's. i just came off a brief vacation in Arizona after mom's passing and from taking so much time off to be with my very sick mom. so i'm afraid i won't get the chance to get the time off. you definitely deserve to go, so if that doc gives you the green light, get going girl. how lucky any of you if you can get this opportunity to go.
this is quite the different atmosphere of an audience as to her summer concerts. how exciting this is, you go Katharine, you're in great company. looking forward to that second cd, i'm sure it will be quite the masterpiece.

Well, I just arrived in Wyoming to house/cat sit while my daughter is in Las Vegas. She called and let me hear her slot machine paying out!!! I told her to "win big" and to have everyone in the group (12 or so) take up a collection for me so that I can go see David Foster & Katharine in May! Of course she said "Oh Mother!"......but when I told her about the lineup of performers, she was really excited!
I truly hope that some of you can make the trip! How wonderful an event it's going to be!

Somebody, somewhere has finally given us a great gift to look forward to! I mentioned in my earlier post that I sure hoped this event would be taped and released on DVD! My prayers were answered!! I am just thrilled!! There are so, so many of us who would love to be there, but can't be and now, we've been given a great blessing to look forward to!!!

Did I miss something, or did Kat's name or face not come up in the entire 15-minute interview?
Anyway, it's interesting that Foster is trying to get Toni Braxton on the show. Maybe Kat won't be the only female star there. But Braxton has a regular gig at one of mid-Strip casinos (Bally's? Harrah's? The Flamingo?), while Mandalay Bay is owned by a different corporation, so I don't know if that'll work out.
What I appreciate about the list of stars is that Bocelli, Buble, and Groban more or less created their own niches or sub-genres in the industry. That's what Kat needs to consider when she creates her 2nd album.
