havent posted here in awhile, but i know alot of people already noticed how many of those who auditioned for this season used "Kat's songs on AI". i saw someone sang SOTR, and also STWOM, and UYCBTM. i know it could just be me, but i think they mightve at the very least liked Kat somehow during her idol days.. well, who didn't?

I think those songs are just standards that would pop up a lot anyway. Since I've yet to hear anybody audition with a version of any of those songs who sounded half as good as Katharine, I really can't imagine them choosing them for that reason. Iknow it would never happen, but in the back of my twisted little mind I can just hear Simon saying "By choosing that song... etc. etc."

Good to see you back, kitty! The great thing about Kat is that she's considered an original as far as Idol contestants are concerned. I don't think she was ever referred to as season 5's version of (some previous Idol contestant), whereas Haley was (unfortunately) thought to be a Kat imitator in season 6.
