great duetthis song should do well on the charts
This is a haunting song (a much better arrangement than any previous one we heard) and should do well based on its obvious earworm quality in its musical structure. Yep, it's repititious to the point of annoyance at times--yet those background singers doing those awesome chord progressions adds so much to it. I swear I could hear Kat's voice blended in with those background singers at one point when Elliott takes over his vocal.
Despite the song sounding good--it still sounds like it was written in a hurry. In fact, the title isn't exactly the greatest either when you consider several well-known songs with that title have been written (that "new" Beatles song from back in the 90's comes to mind). It's hard to tell if it was done here with Kat and Elliott--but I have the feeling that Elliott was brought in after Kat put down her track (considering she starts it off)--and ultimately gets a little more time for whatever reason. Obviously, Randy Jackson made that decision due to being the producer. It'd be interesting to read the deta
