I think I have hit the fashion bag as of late.

I thought I would try this:

What is your favorite Katharine McPhee performance outfit from season 5 of "American Idol?"

I'll start:

First, of course, the now infamous yellow gown from the "I Have Nothing" performance, during love songs week.

The other, I would choose, would be the white pantsuit she wore during the song "I Made It Thru The Rain", on the finale night.

Anyone else?

hands down without a doubt my favorite was during her performance of 'who wants to live forever' when she had the red top with the black belt it was GORGEOUS and they did awesome lighting to make her look more stunning than she already looked! hard to do lol

My fav remains the stunning Dina Bar-El gown Kat wore for the Time of My Life duet with Taylor!
Very glamorous, classy....and Kat looked stunning in it!The gown was somewhat similar to the one Kat wore for the JC Penny Jam OTR.
In retrospect,this might have been the unofficial beginning of Kat's fashion iconhood and clearly demonstrated her potential as a model!

On Idol, I liked the purple dress she wore while singing "Come Rain or Come Shine".

After Idol, my favorite is the outfit from the Red Dress benefit. It was totally impractical, but what a look!

and regarding post idol my favorite look for katharine was hands down when she was at the VH1 awards when she won the it girl!!!!!! loved how they did the side bun and the heels and tights and dress were all very sexy and classy. LOVED ITTTTTTTTTT

Gee, this is difficult. Anybody else like that pseudo-flapper dress from Vegas, with all the beads and spangles or whatever they were? Or the Grammy party dress back from the days when she and Clive were still speaking? Why do I like all those glittery/sparkly flapper-Kat things? Okay, you said from Idol. How about the dress from the Meatloaf duet? Nothing like a simple little black dress. Fill it full of Katharine and it doesn't need anything else to be stunning.
