Daughtry is the runaway favorite, but we've voted Katharine into second place and she's way beyond whoever is third, I can't even remember anymore.
I too have found the time to vote in this meaningless poll.
Katharine was 6th with only 4% of the vote when I first saw it yesterday. She is now second with 24%. She is more than half way to catching Daughtry at 42%.
Tip: Once you are on the results page after your first vote, just keep refreshing it to quickly add the rest of the 20 votes per day you are allowed. It appears to be checking IP Address - no point in deleting cookies to get in more votes. Though if you can get to more computers go ahead and rack em up.

I remember the vote for something where Clay Aiken was the main contender last year or in 2006. There were voting bot wars going on with something in the hundreds of thousands of votes cast by the time it was all over.
